How do I rename the casefile as instructed to in the handbook?
Step 4 on the Paperless Moot webpage is to download the Submission Template Casefile.
The Submission Template Casefile has a dual purpose. It both contains all the information you need for the moot and acts as the template which you use to put your argument together and submit to us.
One of the first things you need to do when you have downloaded the Submission Template Casefile is to rename it, as requested on Page 10 of the handbook. Essentially the casefile you download from the website is called CPM-SubmissionTemplate.case, and it needs to be either copied or renamed to CPM2019[YOURNAME].case
This can be done in a number of ways.
Rename the casefile from within Casedo
You can easily rename the casefile from within Casedo itself. Simply open CPM-SubmissionTemplate.case and, once it is opened, go to the File Menu and select Save Case As… from there a dialog box will open and you can rename the casefile as CPM2019[YOURNAME].case
Rename the casefile outside Casedo
To do this, you simply need to rename the casefile as you would with any other using your Operating System.
