Casedo is a desktop application that is locally installed.

Casedo is built in Electron, a cross-platform application language used in platforms such as Google Chrome and Slack. It runs on either Mac or Windows OS machines. At this time it does not run on Linux, or mobile platforms such as Mac iOS or Google Android. In future we will be looking to build Casedo for these platforms.

Mac OS

Version: Mac OS from Version 10.13: “High Sierra” and more recent
Processor: 1.6 gigahertz (GHz) or faster
RAM: 4 GB
Hard disk space: 500 MB

Windows OS

Version: Windows 7
Processor: 1.6 gigahertz (GHz) or faster
System type: 64 Bit
RAM: 4 GB
Hard disk space: 300 MB

Whilst the above are the minimum system requirements, for best results we recommend keeping your computer running the latest version of your chosen Operating System and with a RAM of 8GB or more.

A Note On Display Size

Users report using Casedo in court on MacBook Air 11″ screens (1366 x 768 pixels). Casedo will work on any-sized desktop or laptop display, however, due to the nature of Casedo, the larger the display greater clarity it can bring to document analysis.
