Install Casedo on a Windows PC as with any other locally installed software application. Download the .exe file and follow the steps below.

If you have an older computer, it might be best to check the Minimum System Requirements before you start. If your computer doesn’t meet those requirements, Casedo might struggle to work as intended. If you’re unsure whether installing Casedo on your computer is safe, you can check for yourself before installing it, take a look at the article Can I trust Casedo?

1) Once you’ve downloaded Casedo, double click on .exe the file.

2) Casedo will show the following screen, and the application will start once installation is complete.

3) Once installed, Casedo will start automatically. If it doesn’t, start the application as you would any desktop application and you’ll be greeted with the following screen:

4) Enter the license key that you’ll have been emailed (it’ll look something like this: D89R8B11-EF8117EF-89C3460A-88AAB5A2), tick the checkbox, and then click Activate.

5) When Casedo opens for the first time, you will be greeted with the following screen:

6) The details you enter here are not checked on our system, they are used in case two users are trying to open the same Casedo casefile on a shared system. For more details on this, read Casedo casefile lock.

7) Once you have entered the details and clicked Confirm, you are ready to begin using Casedo.
