If you have a Casedo licence and you need to change the licence key, the process is very simple. You first need to delete the current License Key, and then restart Casedo and enter the new License Key. Casedo makes this very easy.

N.B. It is important to know that when you update your license key you need to clear your application data. When clearing your application data NONE of your Casedo casefiles and your previously saved documents WILL be erased. However, your Recent File list will be cleared, so that until it populates again you will have to find your casefiles manually, so make sure you know where you keep them!

1. find the ‘Help’ menu in the toolbar section

2. From the ‘Help’ menu find the ‘Application Data’ option

3. After having selected ‘Application Data’, you will now see details of your user data, such as which version of Casedo you are using, your license key number, your email address and so on. You will also see 2 options, ‘Clear Application Data’ and ‘Email Application Data to Casedo.
