How can I paginate the TOC page?

Pagination in Casedo does not currently allow you to paginate the Table of Contents (TOC).  We understand that this might be an issue as some courts have specific requirements to include the TOC into the pagination. We are working very hard to add the ability to make the pagination start at a custom number, but in the meantime, there are few workarounds that we thought could be a temporary solution to the problem.

There is a simple workaround if you need to match PDF and Casedo pagination as explained below.

Solution:

1. Add a three page (or however long the TOC is) blank word documents into the bundle directly below the TOC.

2. Call it ‘Index’ or ’Table of Contents’. Refresh your TOC after having added the blank pages. This will get the page numbers right, and the TOC will appear to list itself in the right place.

3. Remove the blank pages, but DON’T refresh your TOC after having removed the blank pages.

4. Print out your bundle as normal.

What this essentially does is it aligns the TOC numbering with your pagination. Meaning in TOC it will will look like your TOC is included in the overall page numbering of your bundle, for example, your first document will start from page 3, and not page 1.
