Ross & Milad went to UCL to host an insightful seminar on the digitisation of the legal sector! Fantastic to engage with law students eager to explore the benefits of paperless working.
It was fantastic to engage with enthusiastic law students eager to explore the benefits of managing a paperless practice. Special thanks to the UCL Law Society and events coordinators for arranging a great lecture and networking event that followed. Having the opportunity to discuss the cultural shifts in the legal landscape with the future generation of lawyers was a real privilege, and we are grateful to all who attended the talk.
Paperless Lawyer - SOAS Seminar
On the 4th February 2019, Ross Birkbeck and Milad Shojaei went to SOAS University to advocate all there is know about being a Paperless Lawyer! Great to work with the SOAS Law & Bar society once again. Being a paperless lawyer is all very well, but you need to have the right skills and tools to do the job. For example, how best to construct a cohesive legal argument? Ross Birkbeck, Casedo inventor and practising barrister, shares his experience in How to Build an Argument.
How to be a Paperless Lawyer - Seminar at City, University of London - Event
On the 6th of November 2019 CASEDO began its series of university seminars hosted by Ross Birkbeck & Milad Shojaei and joined by practicing family barrister Tom Haggie, all advocating for digital evolution in the legal sector at the Oakden Lecture Hall, City University.
It was brilliant to see so many enthusiastic students showing an interest in legal tech and it’s crucial relationship with the law at large. During this event the three of them were able to offer students valuable insight from two practising barristers who champion the effort to work paperlessly, alongside the perspectives of a newly called barrister transitioning from law student to legal professional. Thank you to all City students & staff who came by, and special thanks to Emily Allbon for her help in organising the event and getting the word out on Lawbore.
